The second run of the #38 is the John Chapman and is traditionally considered a “Farmers Jack.” It features a large Hawkbill or Pruning main blade with a spey secondary, both on one spring with no half stops. As of 4/10 the Jigged Brazilian Cherry handled Tidioutes are available at distributors with most of the remaining Tidioutes shipping from the factory next week.

The 38 is brand new pattern, with the first run on this frame being the Grinling Whittler. This whittler is a split-back design and features a master Clip blade with pen and sheepfoot secondary blades. Its closed length is right around 3 3/4 inches.

Update 3/26: All of the Tidioute versions are complete and the Northfields should start coming through today or tomorrow.
